Who We Are

Retreat Maia designs intentional experiences that help individuals and teams slow down, reconnect, and remember what matters. Rooted in the concept of māyā, the veil that clouds our clarity, we create nourishing spaces where distraction gives way to presence, and deeper connection becomes possible.

In their words…

I went to my first yoga retreat with Retreat Maia, and I already can't wait for the next. I had recently realized I needed some solitude and quiet in my life, after raising 3 kids for over a decade and working in Healthcare at a high stress job. This retreat was pressure free, I felt encouraged to be alone if needed and my inner journey was respected, but I was also able to easily connect and attend classes and activities when I felt called to. If you want some pressure free time to look in-ward and also meet some amazing people on a similar path, this is the retreat for you. The yoga was gentle and the guided meditation the perfect lengths.

You guys are very talented yoga teachers and create a space and an energy that I loved. I never really had a "yoga community" and I felt like I really belonged to one all weekend. The music, poses, meditations, and the assistance helped transport my mind, body, and spirit, which is what I was hoping for. I also loved that we had free time, and everything was optional so I could create a unique experience for myself.

Bridget

The location was such a good choice and helped me feel connected to myself, nature, and the other guests of the retreat. All of the planning and details, from the morning drinks and snacks before classes provided, to the journal prompts, the incredible yoga shala where we practiced

Alexis

You both did an amazing job! The weekend combined the spiritual, physical, and mental aspects and the venue complemented that nicely.
